The University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships are available in the majority of Sussex Schools and are awarded to international and EU students who have applied for and been offered a place on eligible full-time Masters degrees at the University of Sussex on the basis of academic performance and potential.

- Certificates and Diplomas (including PGCE)
- Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS)
- Development Studies MA
- Early Years in Education MA (with Early Years Teacher status)
- Globalization, Business, and Development MA
- Governance, Development, and Public Policy MA
- Power, Participation, and Social Change MA
- Poverty and Development MA
- Master’s degree in Social Work (if receiving an NHS bursary)
- Online courses
- Schools direct teaching courses
- Any Master funded by the research councils (e.g. those receiving ESRC 1+3 funding)
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for this award, you must:
- For fee purposes, be designated as ‘overseas.’
- Beginning in September 2023, I will begin a full-time Master’s degree program.
- Be self-sufficient.
- Having outstanding academic results
How to Apply
Scholarship applications will be accepted beginning April 12, 2023.
To be considered for the Chancellors’ International Scholarship, you must have been offered and accepted a place in an appropriate Master’s program at Sussex.
Finally, you must complete the separate application form online, when you have received an offer to study at Sussex.
