All about Obuasi Senior High Technical School

When Government Secondary Technical School, currently known as Obuasi Senior High Technical, first opened its doors in November 1965, 33 boys were enrolled.

Obuasi Senior High Technical School was formally a males-only school run by the Ministry of Education on land kindly supplied by the then-Asante Goldfields.

Girls were allowed to enroll in the school after the new educational reforms were put in place. The school was established in 1965 and is situated in Koffikrom, a municipality in Obuasi.

To be the preferred route for students to effectively and efficiently use their heads, hands, and hearts in the future to benefit themselves, the school, and society as a whole.

Mission Of Obuasi Senior High Technical School

To create an enabling environment for effective and efficient teaching and learning, to ensure that students have access to appropriate teaching and learning tools, equipment, and materials, and to recruit qualified right-minded kings and motivated teachers in order to produce right-minded young men and women to serve the country and humanity.
