2023/2024 Government of Flanders Mastermind Scholarships; See How to apply

This is to let everyone know that the Government of Flanders Mastermind Scholarships 2023/2024 Portal application process is still open to all qualified applicants. The new list of prerequisites and steps to access the URL is below.

Government of Flanders Mastermind Scholarships’ advantages

A scholarship worth up to €8000 is given to the new student each academic year.

The length of the mobility is a minimum of one academic year and a maximum of the entire master’s program. The scholarship is forfeited in the second year if the student earns less than 45 ECTS in the first year.

General Requirements for the Scholarship

• The candidate submits an application to enroll in a Master’s degree program at a university in Flanders (referred to as the “Flemish host institution” above).
• The candidate must demonstrate a high level of academic ability or achievement. He or she satisfies all academic admission requirements, including any applicable language requirements, to enroll in the relevant Master program provided by the Flemish host school.
• Every nationality is eligible. The preceding degree should have been earned from a university outside of Flanders.
• It is not possible to apply if you are currently enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution.

How to Submit an Application for Ministry of Flanders Scholarships

1. You must first submit an application to a Flemish host institution that takes part in the Master Mind Scholarship Program if you are interested.
2. Verify your eligibility and the Master Mind Scholarships’ participation at the Flemish university of your choice.

5. The host institution creates your application file in the Mobility-Online application program to begin the Master Mind Scholarship application process.
6. You get a notification email from Mobility-Online informing you that you have been preselected for a Master Mind Scholarship.
7. You create your application file in the Mobility-Online tool, register there, and finish it before the deadline.
8. Before the deadline of April 28, 2023, 23:59 GMT+1, the host institution verifies and submits the completed application file via the Mobility-Online service. Applications that have been verified but have been submitted after April 28, 2023, 23:59 GMT+1, will not be accepted.
