This is to let everyone know that the Ministry of Brunei Darussalam International Students Scholarships 2023/2024 Portal application process is still open to all qualified applicants.
All qualified applicants should learn more about the application process and requirements before deciding whether to apply for the Ministry of Brunei Darussalam International Students Scholarships 2023/2024 Portal.
Qualifying Criteria for Scholarships
- Citizens of any country, including ASEAN, Commonwealth, and OIC members, may apply.
- The government of the applicant should make the recommendation.
- Before arriving in Brunei Darussalam, applicants must have certification from a licensed medical professional registered with any government authority(ies) that they are medically fit to pursue the scholarship and to pursue their studies in Brunei Darussalam. The applicant is responsible for covering any and all costs associated with acquiring this certification.
- For undergraduate and diploma programs, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25. For postgraduate master’s degree programs, applicants must not be older than 35 on July 31, 2023.
- Permanent Residents of Brunei Darussalam are NOT eligible for the award.
Application-Required Documents
The following documents must be uploaded to the BDGS application form:
a current passport-sized photo.
- copies of academic credentials that have been verified and any supporting documents (i.e. certificates, testimonials, transcripts).
- Supporting documents that are not in English must be presented with certified English translations.
- certified authentic copies of the passport and birth certificate.
