Objectives and Gains of the Goi Peace Foundation UNESCO Essay Contest by the Goi Peace Foundation
The Children’s category and the Youth category will each get the following honors:
First Prize: A certificate, 100,000 Yen (about $900 as of March 2021) in cash, and a gift. 1 participant
2nd Place: A certificate, 50,000 Yen (about US$450 as of March 2021) cash prize, and a gift. 2 competitors
Gift and certificate for third place… 5 competitors
Honorable Mention: A gift and certificate… 25 competitors
The winners of the first through third prizes will receive invitations to the online Winners Gathering.
If appropriate, further awards (such as the Best School Award and the School Incentive Award) will be granted.
On October 31, 2022 (Japan time), all prize winners will be revealed on this page.
