    The West African Examinations Council has officially released the provisional results for 2023 edition of the Basic Education Certificate Examination for Private Candidates.

    The Examination Council has uploaded the result to their online portal for the students to access. Click here to check your result. eresults.waecgh.org

    Other Issues

    According to data provided by WAEC, a sum of two thousand- two hundred and forty (2,240) candidates which includes two thousand, one hundred and ten (1,258) males and nine hundred and eighty two (982) females took the examination which was written at eleven (11) centers across the country.

    The statistics indicated that out of the total number two thousand- two hundred and forty (2,240) of candidates that registered, two thousand, one hundred and ten (2, 110) sat for the examination, while 130 candidates were reportedly absent.

    Surprisingly, the Council said it has withheld five subject results which are pending the conclusion of investigations into alleged examination malpractices.

    The West African Examinations Council has assured that the withheld results will be released after the Council is done with its investigation the malpractices.
