Candidates must have at least credits (A1 – C6 in WASSCE and A – D in SSSCE) in English, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science, and three elective topics to be eligible to apply for BSc Information Technology at the University of Ghana.

University of Ghana Bachelor of Information Technology Cut-off Point
To study Information communication, candidates should note that the cut-off point of the University of Ghana is aggregate 12. BSc Information Technology is a competitive course at the University of Ghana. meeting the entry requirement will not guarantee your success in the admission process since many candidates apply for the course.
Applicants must carefully observe the requirements since the University of Ghana will not consider any applicants who do not meet the requirements.
Is D7 to F9 accepted to study Information Technology at the University of Ghana
Candidates should be aware of the entry requirement and the cut-off point while submitting an application for the University of Ghana’s BSc in information technology program. A D7 in any of the necessary courses makes admission to a reputable university in Ghana all but impossible.
State-owned universities, like the University of Ghana, dislike D7 and will immediately reject you. The University of Ghana does not accept applications from students whose grades are D7, E8 or F9.
A candidate must have taken and passed the WAEC private test in the aforementioned topics in order to be accepted into the University of Ghana with D7, E8, and F9.
