The Bachelor of Arts degree is a tertiary undergraduate degree that focuses on liberal arts and studies. A baccalaureate degree is a Bachelor of Arts degree. A Bachelor of Arts degree is often completed in four years due to the four years of full-time coursework required.

A Bachelor of Arts, like other bachelor’s degrees, is required for entrance to graduate and professional school. Beginning in the 1990s, community institutions began to provide baccalaureate degrees.

There are career-specific Bachelor of Arts degrees, such as the Bachelor of Arts in Administration, the Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, and the Regents Bachelor of Arts, in addition to the conventional BA degrees.

Individuals applying for admission to the Bachelor of Arts program at the University of Ghana must have three credit passes (A1-C6) in their elective subjects in addition to credit passes (A1-C6) in mathematics, integrated science, and English.

Each year, the Arts department at the University of Ghana receives a huge number of applications, making entrance into the university to pursue Bachelor of Arts very challenging. Admission to the university is not assured even if a candidate passes the minimum requirements.

Is D7 to F9 accepted to study for the Bachelor of Arts at the University of Ghana?

Candidates who earn the grades D7, E8, or F9 are not accepted into any Bachelor’s program at the University of Ghana. Candidates with D7 to F9 results must take the WAEC private test (NOV-DEC) in order to improve their D7, E8, or F9 subjects.

Before enrolling in the University of Ghana’s Bachelor of Arts program, applicants should be fully aware of the entry requirements and the cut-off point because these factors have such a big impact on the admissions process.
