UCC Excellence PhD Scholarships are currently being offered by the University College Cork (UCC). Only candidates who plan to begin a PhD, PhD Track, or MPhil as a step toward a Doctorate in the College of Arts, Celtic Studies, and Social Sciences are eligible for these funds. Each year, up to 10 awards may be granted.
The UCC PhD Excellence Scholarships are available for one year initially and can be extended for the full postgraduate program of the student’s choice. They cover EU tuition fees.

Qualifications and Standards
Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for the UCC PhD Excellence Scholarships:
a first- or second-class degree with at least Second Class Honours (Grade 1) or an equivalent grade.
previously submitted an application to UCC’s College of Arts, Celtic Studies, and Social Sciences for their desired postgraduate program.
Nationality of Applicants
These PhD Excellence Scholarships are open to applicants of any country.
