SHORT HISTORY ABOUT THE CENTRAL BANK OF GHANA (BoG).

The Bank of Ghana Ordinance (No. 34) of 1957, which was approved by the British Parliament, established the bank two (2) days before Ghana declared its independence, on March 4, 1957. The Bank of Ghana was formally launched in July 1957.

  10. It promotes relations with international banking and financial institutions.
