Now that there is a worldwide professional platform accessible for anyone to use in order to find us, even if they do not know any of our family, they will be able to do it, the man remarked.

The “Get the Artistes” platform, according to the Rap Doctor, as he is sometimes known, is a novel idea that will transform and enhance the entertainment sector by making it easier for artists to do their work and expanding the audience for Ghanaian artists’ creations.

“For me, the first thing that comes to mind when I consider hiring artists is the bottom line. Because more people would be able to find me, I am about to make money. And secondly, the industry is about to endure and develop, he continued.

An event organizer named Benjamin Mainoo told the media that the project will lessen the difficulties that organizers encounter when trying to contact artists after nearly being conned last year into hiring them.

“Last year, when we sought to book Fameye, we dealt with the incorrect individual to the point where we nearly sent them a Gh10,000 initial deposit. This platform is here, so some of these problems may be prevented,” he added. “Something happened, so we stopped.

Artist manager, filmmaker, and producer Castro Owusu Ansah Sarpong added: “The whole thing is going to help the entire industry in the sense that it is going to bring all the artistes to one place like an ecosystem or hub, and it makes the manager’s work a lot easier in terms of maybe going to look for gigs and all.

“At the end of the day, it relieves part of the manager’s burden. To me, insofar as it will be advantageous to the performers, managers, and industry at large.
