Two police officers from the Asokwa Divisional MTTD, Kumasi, PW/Inspr Martha Ackah and No. 6233 PW/Sergeant Felicia Ocran, who were seen acting inappropriately in a viral video, have been detained by the Police Administration.
“We would like to urge the affected victims to come forward and support the Police investigation to enable us take the officers through the due process of the law as we seek to ensure that our officers uphold the highest form of professional standards” said Asst. Supt. of Police Godwin Ahianyo in a press release
According to a press release issued by the Ashanti Region Police Command’s Public Affairs office and signed by Asst. Supt. of Police Godwin Ahianyo, the officers have been detained to allow for a full investigation into the incident, in accordance with Police internal disciplinary procedures, after which they will be charged.
