Training Application Overview and Guidelines

We want to thank you for your interest in the Web Technology training at Ghana Tech Lab. You are joining us at an exciting time as we partner with the Mastercard Foundation on their Young Africa Works Portfolio on our Base Innovation Program. This partnership is focused on providing dignified jobs for young people in Ghana.

Ghana Tech Lab ( GTL) is established as a strategic ecosystem enabler to accelerate the position of Ghana as Africa’s number one center for highly-skilled digital workforce/human capital. We are Africa’s idea accelerator (Start-ups haven) and a fertile platform for innovative promising start-ups to grow through the provision of early-stage investments.

As part of our Pathways to Sustainable Employment (PaSE) program, Ghana Tech Lab seeks to implement a locally facilitated model that leverages a distributed network of hubs across Ghana. This is to ensure the delivery of an integrated entrepreneurship support (skills-building, seed funding, incubation, acceleration), with a view to building a pipeline of investment-ready firms (more than 70% women-led firms) , and linking young people to employment opportunities. This is achieved with the below models:

  1. The Digital Skills Training for 6 weeks
  2. The Employability/Internship facet for a duration of 8 weeks
  3. Business and Technical Incubation for 10 weeks

The Digital Skills Training would would expose you to courses such as:

  1. Full stack Web Development course –
