The Computer Schools Selection and Placement System’s (CSSPS) trends in school placement show some disparity in school selection. Students prefer the popular but few traditionally high-performing schools, resulting in oversubscription at these schools.
Many schools that have greatly improved in recent years are still unknown and underutilized. This anomaly, we believe, is due in part to a lack of information available to students and parents.

The school, known as Kumasi Secondary Technical School until recently (2008), was founded in 1991 as a co-educational institution.
It is one of the 146 senior secondary schools established throughout the country following the implementation of the educational reform program.
VISION:
to prepare students to use their heads, hands, and hearts effectively and efficiently in order to benefit themselves and society as a whole now and in the future.
MISSION:
