Benefits of the Financial Assistance Program at Leiden University
An annual award of between 1000 and 3000 euros will be given to LUC Financial Support Program participants; the exact amount will depend on the circumstances of each applicant and the amount of funding that is available.
Qualifying Standards for the Leiden University Financial Assistance Program
- You must have already filled out a LUC admissions application.
- You don’t already hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- You are able to present supporting documentation for your claim that you need financial aid in order to attend LUC.
Application-Required Documents
The university requires the following paperwork from the students:
- a replica of a current passport or ID card
- a replica of a Dutch residency card (if applicable)
- CV
- linguistic ability (if applicable)
- copies of your transcripts and diplomas
- letter of recommendation (max one A4)
- referral letters.
How to Apply for the Financial Assistance Program at Leiden University
With the online application portal of Leiden University, applicants must submit their LUC admissions applications. Before March 15: They specify that they want to apply for the LUC financial support program in the scholarship portion of their online application.
