UHAS SRC - We’re ready for new Learning Management System

In line with the Ministry of Education’s directives for Universities to roll out a distance learning programme virtually, the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) has said the students are prepared for the deployment of the new Learning Management System (LMS).

LMS – is an online learning platform that is meant to ensure the continuity of academic work, despite the closure of school amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The SRC President, Abraham Norman Nortey in an interview with Ghana News Agency said, the management of UHAS has made available video tutorials on the LMS to help both students and lecturers to be familiarized with the e-learning platform.

Abraham Norman Nortey encouraged all students to use this opportunity to close gaps created as a result of restrictions.

“The aim of this e-learning project is to ensure that academic work continues notwithstanding of coronavirus pandemic, adding that students as the florilegium of intellectuals, must welcome it,” the SRC president said.

He entreated students to log on to the UHAS LMS using their index numbers as username and “123456yy” as password via the UHASMobile App or Moodle App.

The SRC President added that Students who have lost or forgotten their UHASMail logins will receive it via their active contacts from the management.

Abraham Norman Nortey said students could access UHAS LAMS via https://elearning.uhas.edu.gh/lms
