The UG Scholarship for level 100 students is now accepting applications, according to the University of Ghana Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO).
This scholarship aims to give deserving and talented Regular Main Campus and City Campus undergraduate students of the University of Ghana financial assistance (tuition costs).
Requirements for the UG scholarship
You are eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria:
- You are a student at Level 100.
- Are you a regular main / city campus student?
- Are you a regular fee-paying main campus student?
- Are able to demonstrate a low family income and/or a lack of funds to cover the majority or all educational-related expenses.
- Have the determination to succeed (determination, perseverance, and success in other pursuits).
- Attained a WASSCE aggregate of 20 or higher.
APPLYING FOR UG SCHOLARSHIP
- You must go to the UG website at http://www.ug.edu.gh.
- Click on Admission, then Financial Aid/ Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Read the eligibility page and fill out the online application form, including the required essays.
- Furthermore, applicants must print a hardcopy of the preview of the completed online form, along with all Relevant Supporting Documentation, and submit it to the Students Financial Aid Office on or before the deadline.

- a copy of your acceptance letter
- Registration documentation
- Academic achievements (WASSCE grades)
- Recommendation letters
- Siblings’ birth certificates
Any additional documents that you believe will aid in the processing of your application.
CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION
Thursday, March 2, 2023, is the last day to submit an application.
