Govt has not set aside any relief for private schools

he Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has denied claims of the government setting aside any funds or relief for private schools in the country.

Responding to whether the President has disbursed any funds for private schools in an Instagram live question and answer, he said, “No amount has been set aside for private schools. Only businesses are benefiting from the relief fund set aside by the gov’t.”

According to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ofoase Ayirebi, the money or relief set aside for businesses currently are the GHC600million for Small and Medium-sized businesses and another Ghc3billion for Large Businesses.
