GNAT staff bundle, How to register

The cost of living in the country has affected everything, including data subscriptions and packages for online work.

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has devised a way to subsidize the cost of purchasing data for its members. However, interested members need to sign up for this scheme to access the Enjoy GNAT/ Staff Bundle 10GB data pack at Ghc25 for teachers only.

To register, Teachers are supposed to follow the steps listed below:

To be eligible for a GNAT package, applicants must have a valid employee ID as proof of identity, a commitment to sponsor the package on a monthly basis, an active MTN number they wish to apply the package to, and must not have broadband. , business, credit transfer or Transferred card number or corporate SIM.

The request for a GNAT package is done through a short code (USSD), sent to applicants once registration as beneficiaries is approved. Payment for the GNAT package can be made from any mobile money wallet across all networks through a short code.

1. You must first register during the registration window in order to be able to purchase the package during the purchase window.

2. Both the registration and the purchase must be carried out with their windows open. Otherwise, any loss of funds will be at your own risk. That is, read the guidelines and instructions before any purchase attempt at all times.

3. All the windows are currently closed and will be opened in a few days.

4. You must join your Telegram page for any queries as data stewards cannot be on all platforms and/or address issues individually.

The Request procedure to be followed:

1. Dial *800*08# from any loaded mobile money wallet (all networks)

2. Select option 1 (Staff bundle offer)

3. Select option 2 (request bundle)

4. Enter your registered beneficiary’s phone number.

5. Select bundle ( 25 or 50) factor charges and taxes.

6. Confirm the summary of your entries

7. Expect a pop-up alert on your phone displaying that your payment has been initiated pending your account authorization.

8. Wait patiently for your payment authorization alert and complete the payment process.

9. Wait for an SMS receipt from GNAT and your service provider. Keep them as your reference and hold on till you’re served.

It is important to note that Multiple requests are not allowed. Also, give maximum attention to the details of the procedure since USSD processes are timed out after few seconds of inactivity.

1. Download and Click on my MTN app on your phone.
2. Select “Data”
3. All active data bundles will show
4. The description of this offer is “Master Beneficiary Data Bundle”

2. An alert will pop up on your screen
3. The bundle displays in megabytes (MB) as part of your internet bundle account balance.
4. 10GB displays in its equivalence of 10240MB
