During the media launch of “Get the Artistes”, Mr. Kwame Baah, a digital marketing specialist and the leader behind the initiative, spoke about the main objective of the platform. He aims to create a connection between artistes and event organizers, streamlining the booking process and eliminating the problems associated with artist no-shows and booking scams.

He mentioned that he was almost scammed into transferring an initial deposit of Gh10,000 to the wrong person when trying to book Fameye. However, the situation was eventually averted. Benjamin expressed his hope that the introduction of the platform would prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.

Castro Owusu Ansah Sarpong, a multifaceted figure in the entertainment industry as both an artist manager and film director/producer, voiced his support for the “Get the Artistes” initiative. He stated that the platform would serve as a hub for all artists, effectively streamlining the work of managers who are seeking gigs and opportunities for their clients.
