2022/2023 GES Recruitment And How To Apply

A notice circulating on social media indicates that the Ghana Education Service is calling on stakeholders and other educational bodies for a meeting ahead of a possible reopening of schools by the President in the coming few weeks.

Apparently, when Coronavirus emerged, President Nana Addo banned all school activities from nursery to tertiary.

However, in his 9th address, he extended the ban to the end of May. That’s to mean that when this current extension expires, there is a possibility that he could order schools to resume their normal activities.

On the back of this, Ghana Education Service is calling on other stakeholders, educational bodies, and leaders of Teacher associations such as Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) among others to put heads together so that they can strategize on how the schools can ensure there’s safety and maximum Security if pupils are allowed to come back to school.

The stakeholder bodies are expected to join others on May 19 to talk at length on the way forward and also proffer some exquisite ideas which when implemented will ensure that all members of the various discourse communities are protected from the deadly COVID-19.
