In an interview with the Public Relations Officer of the University, Kwame Yeboah Jnr, he explained that the fumigation exercise was aimed at disinfecting the campus and making the environment safe.

He said that although the University regularly carried out such exercises, it has become more necessary to do so as the country is taking measures to deal with the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Meanwhile, all administration/professional staff, with the exception of staff who render essential services have been asked to stay away from the office.

Teaching staff have been directed to make use of the University’s virtual classroom which has been equipped to handle all online-based academic activities.
