Young African Leadership Programme is a fellowship program that offers policy professionals from Africa (all regions) a singular opportunity to advance their policy work as well as their professional and leadership abilities among foreign experts.
The program’s goals include addressing gender disparities and promoting diversity in leadership roles, as well as building new networks and bringing together a strong cohort of leaders committed to bringing about change in their respective nations and throughout the continent.
Selected individuals will participate in workshops, training sessions, conferences, and study abroad trips to Europe in the vibrant academic environment of the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence.
This will be a genuinely unique experience thanks to interactions with the other fellows, policymakers, and the academic community at the EUI.

- Study trips to international organizations, relevant academic institutions, and the EU

- awarding of the YALP attendance certificate.
- Access to a network of academics and professionals
- aware of pertinent international governance.
