    MTN Ghana has as part of its effort to support University students particularly ‘MTN subscribers’ during this COVID-19 pandemic have zero-rated a number of University of Ghana websites.

    Zero-rating’ is when an ISP applies a price of zero to the data traffic associated with a particular application or website.

    This implies that the University of Ghana university (UG) students who are MTN subscribers will be able to surf 19 UG, Legon portals without any data charges.

    According to the Telecommunication giant, it has zero-rated 17 of University of Ghana websites to help students continue to study using online resources and also to help them focus on the distance learning programme launched by the management.

    However, students are to note that these websites have a daily cap of 500MB.
