UEW 27th Congregation: Latest Information on First Session
The University of Education, Winneba has announced the date schedules and venues for the First Session of the 27th Congregation. This session will award degrees, diplomas, and certificates to Regular and Sandwich students. The event will be held in person from Monday, 27th March, 2023, to Saturday, 1st April, 2023, at the Jophus Anamuah Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba.

Registering for UEW 27th Congregation
Are you a graduand of the University of Education, Winneba, seeking to be presented at the upcoming 27th Congregation ceremony? You can register easily by visiting the UEW website and completing the necessary registration information. Be sure to begin your registration process on Monday, March 13, 2023, when it commences.
Attention to All UEW Graduands:
We want to remind you that the deadline for registration is fast approaching. Please ensure that you register before the closing date of Friday, 24th March, 2023, at 12:00 NOON. It’s important to note that no registration will be accepted after the deadline. Only those who have registered will be presented at the ceremony.
Please note that the presentation will be en masse, except for Ph.D. and First Class Graduands. To ensure that you are adequately prepared for the ceremony, you should collect your academic gowns at the Faculty of Social Sciences Education, North Campus, Winneba.
On the day of the ceremony, please ensure that you are seated at the Congregation Venue by 8:30 am, dressed appropriately in academic attire suitable for your Degrees, Diplomas, or Certificates.
There will be accredited photographers covering the event, and you will have the opportunity to obtain copies of your photographs at a fee. To collect your certificates, Graduands are expected to produce their Clearance Chits and Student Identification Cards or any National Photo Identification Card.
Guidelines on Dress Code and Safety Protocol for the Congregation
To maintain the solemnity of the occasion, the dress code for the Congregation is formal. For gentlemen, a shirt and a tie with a jacket are recommended. It is important to note that individuals who do not adhere to the dress code will not be allowed to attend the ceremony.
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is crucial that everyone adheres to the safety protocols in place. All participants are encouraged to observe the COVID-19 safety guidelines as recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
