The Management of Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has duly released an amount of GHC 1.7 million to be disbursed to 1,492 students this week.
This brings the total amount released for the /2023 academic year to 48.6 million Ghana cedis to be disbursed to the students.
The Students Loan Trust Fund gives loans to Ghana tertiary students who are pursuing accredited programmes in accredited tertiary institutions. These students must have gained admission to pursue undergraduate programmes only.
However, the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) in a communique indicated to communicate the schedule for future payments in due course.
Early on, SLTF announced that borrowers can now make their Students Loan payment by any of the following modes/platforms quoting clearly your Social Security Number (SSN):
1. MOBILE MONEY: by dialing Shortcode *737*206# => follow prompts to make payment.
2. MYGHPAY: by visiting the website: www.myghpay.com or download the myghpay app on Google Play Store
=>Register/login => click on SLTF Logo => follow onscreen prompts to make payment with either your Visa, MasterCard (OR) Mobile Money
3. GT COLLECT: Make payment at ANY GT Bank branch across the country, using customized pay-in-slip.
