Pick your books & read if you cant access online learning

Ghana’s Deputy Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has asked students who have been complaining of accessing icampusgh.com and Ghana Learning TV to pick their textbooks and read them.

The Ministry of Education and it’s relevant partners deployed the online distance programmes to help students who are currently at home as a temporal school break to continue studies following the closure of schools amid the global coronavirus pandemic.

The Deputy Education Minister in an interview with Joy News admitted that there are still few students who live in remote communities where online communication remains a challenge, however, Dr. Yaw Adutwum said these category of students are part of the general student population in Ghana and therefore urged them to learn their own with available materials (Notes and textbooks).

His comment was in response to a question on how to deal with the unequal access to the online course by some students after a documentary showing some students even in the capital Greater Accra not being able to take part in the online studies.
