Management of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana (NMC) has extended the registration date for newly qualified Nurse Assistance Preventive and Nurse Assistance Curative from May 29, 2020 to June 3, 2020.
The Council earlier gave a period which was scheduled to end on March 31, 2020, to May 29, 2020.
The Council’s extension of the registration process is due to government`s ban on social activities which did not give room for more of the newly qualified nurses to do their registration.
The Council in line with the the government’s directive on public sector operations says its Regional Offices remain accessible to its Clients and stakeholders.
To reduce human contacts, the Council advised clients and stakeholders seeking detailed information about to contact the N&MC COVID-19 Information Resource Centre and our Call Center numbers (0302541423/0302522909/ 0200862772/0501079037)
The Nursing and Midwifery Council is encouraging all newly qualified NAC/NAP practitioners who have not completed their registration process to do so within this period since there is no possibility for further extension of the registration period.
