The Governor of Taraba State, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku, has granted approval for the appointment of Associate Professor Ejika Sambo as the new provost of the College of Education in Zing. Ejika Sambo takes over from Dr. Mike Dio, who has retired from service.
Prior to his appointment, Associate Professor Ejika Sambo served as the Head of the Business Management Department at Modibbo University of Technology in Yola, Adamawa state.
Additionally, Governor Ishaku has also given approval for the appointment of two new honorable commissioners, Ishaya Obida Karim and Lawal Ibrahim, to the Ministry of Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation and the Ministry of Power, respectively.
The appointment and postings of these individuals are effective immediately.
