National Population Commission (NPC) Enlists Bloggers to Educate Participants on 2023 Census Procedures
The National Population Commission (NPC) collaborated with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) to organize a one-day interactive workshop for bloggers and social media influencers from all states of Nigeria and the FCT.
The objective of the workshop was to educate the participants on the processes and methodology for the 2023 Population and Housing Census.
The workshop aimed to:
- Increase awareness among Nigerian bloggers and social media influencers on the importance of the 2023 Nigeria Census.
- Sensitize Nigerian bloggers and social media activists on their role in mass mobilization towards the success of the 2023 Nigeria Census.
- Build a formidable network of bloggers, online activists, and influencers to encourage youth and citizen mobilization for participation in the 2023 Nigeria Census.
- Ensure a consistent and regular positive portrayal of the 2023 Nigeria Census in most online communication platforms.
The NPC is confident that preparations for the 2023 Population and Housing Census are on track, and that the census will be accurate, reliable, and acceptable.
The commission appeals to all Nigerians to join hands in providing accurate and reliable data for our dear country through the forthcoming census.
