The Mundus Masters in Journalism Scholarships, otherwise, the Erasmus Mundus Masters in Journalism, Media and Internationalism welcome applications from undergraduate students worldwide. Students can apply for admission to the Mundus journalism program and a Mundus scholarship through the same application process. The call is open from November 1 to January 10 every year.
Scholarship Description
Mundus Journalism Masters scholarships: The Mundus Journalism Association receives between 400-500 applications every year and accepts 80-90 students. Mundus alumni are represented in almost every continent and region of the world.
Award Value
The Mundus Journalism Master’s Scholarships for students from Partner Countries of €49,000 (€47,000 if the travel distance from the place of residence is less than 4,000 km): CATEGORY A IN THE APPLICATION FORM. You can be considered for this type of scholarship if you:
- You are NOT a resident of any of the EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Turkey, Serbia or the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
- You must comply with the 12 months rule, i.e. you cannot have carried out your main activity (studies, work, private visits, tourism, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the EU Member States.
- You fulfill the admission requirements and selection criteria.
Scholarships for students from Programme Countries of €35,000: CATEGORY B ON THE APPLICATION FORM. You can be considered for this type of scholarship if:
- You ARE a resident of any of the EU Member States, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Turkey, Serbia or the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
- You are NOT a resident of any of these States, BUT you have carried out your main activity (studies, work, private visits, tourism, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of them.
Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Requirements for admission to the Mundus Journalism Master’s Scholarships programme:
- A bachelor’s degree within a relevant field of study.
- Documentation of your English skills if you are not a native English speaker.
- At least 3 months of journalistic experience
Application Procedure
How-To-Apply: To be able to apply for the Mundus Journalism Master’s Scholarships:
- Prepare, print and sign the application form.
- Arrange the Application package.
- Collect all documents in one PDF file (max 10mb), and name the file.
- Fill in the Online Registration and attach the PDF.
- Submission your application on/before January 10.
