The FirstBank Management Associate Program’s advantages
Once the program is over:
- Regardless of their marks at the point of entry, successful candidates (Management Associates) will be promoted to Assistant Manager grade.
- The Bank will designate these people as High-Potential Staff (HiPos), and they will be eligible for regular promotion if they consistently receive high-performance ratings throughout the annual evaluation process.
- Based on the delegate’s preferred/selected business function, a full-time posting will be assigned.
- To give such employees international exposure and network, cross-country posting and secondment options would be made available to them across the FirstBank network.
External Recognition
To be eligible for the FirstBank Management Associate Program, applicants must meet the requirements listed below:
- not older than thirty years.
- 3 years at least in a structured organization, preferably in the financial services industry or with a multinational consulting business.
- Any discipline must have a minimum Second-Class Upper-division from an accredited university.
- Candidates must also possess the following qualifications: a post-graduate degree (minimum Master’s degree) from a respected university; OR relevant professional qualifications like ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CFA.
