Prez Nana Addo in his 16th update monitored by Tertiary Ghana stated that Second-year students in Junior and Senior High Schools are to return to school and complete the remaining /2023 academic year from October 5 to December 14, 2023.
Prez Akufo-Addo in his 16th address indicated his decision to form two Junior and Senior High School students to return to school follows a consultation with the Ghana Education Service and other relevant stakeholders.
According to hi, the president, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has arranged for the Junior High Schools (JHSs) to operate with a maximum class size of 30 and Senior High Schools (SHSs) with maximum class sizes of 25.
He furthered that the students will be in school for a period of 10 weeks to continue with academic activities and write their end of term exams.

His Excellency Akufo-Addo said form 2 Senior High School (SHS) students in boarding house are to return to their dormitory on the 5th of October, 2023 whilst day students will commute from home to their respective schools on the same date in adherence to the coronavirus safety protocols.
President Nana Addo also stated that all senior high schools and Junior High Schools will be fumigated before the students start coming to their various campuses. This exercise is to make sure that there are no sort of breeding grounds for the deadly coronavirus.
