Scholarships from the Jeannette Rankin Fund are open. Eligible candidates must be US students age 35 or older.
Pease note, only female candidates are welcome to apply. These JRF scholarships cover a minimum of $2,000.
Scholarship Description
Applications are invited for the Jeannette Rankin Fund (JRF) Scholarship for low-income women, age 35 and older, who are pursuing college at accredited colleges and universities. These scholarships are awarded without regard to race, creed, religion, color, ancestry, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, national origin, or disability.
Award Value
These JRF scholarships awards grants ranging from $2,000 above each and may be used for tuition, books, transportation, childcare and other living expenses.

Eligibility and Criteria
- A woman, age 35 or older ;
- Low-income;
- A U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States;
- Pursuing a technical or vocational education, an associate’s degree, or a first bachelor’s degree;
- Enrolled in, or accepted to, a regionally or ACICS accredited school;
