  • The program is structured to span 18 – 20 months, aiming to develop technical skills and provide experience for Ordinary National Diploma (OND) students. It also familiarizes them with the company culture and principles.
  • Upon completion of the program, individuals should be capable of taking on immediate responsibilities within a designated area.
  • The program emphasizes hands-on, self-study, and a comprehensive understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls & Automation/Mechatronics knowledge across the company’s 4 Breweries in Nigeria.
  • Participants will be involved in projects in the Packaging, Brewing, and Utilities departments as required.
  • Acquiring an in-depth knowledge of the company’s Management System (VPO) is essential.
  • Developing problem-solving competencies using tools and systems stipulated by the management pillar block.
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting of systemic and situational problems.
  • Communicating learnings and solutions across various levels of the business.
  • Demonstrating exceptional teamwork abilities.
  • Having an autonomous mindset.

Requirements for International Breweries Apprenticeship Scheme Programme

  • Minimum qualification of OND in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
  • Training from a Technical & Industrial Institution is an added advantage.
  • Age requirement: Candidates should be between 18 to 24 years old.

Additional Important Information

  • The apprentice position is a permanent role on band XI-B.
  • Emphasis on hands-on activities and On-The-Job (OTJ) training.
  • Assessments will be conducted.
  • Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will be posted to locations based on business needs.
