About College of Nursing BUTH (CONOBUTH)
The School of Nursing in Ogbomoso is an agency of the Nigerian Baptist Convention and an integral part of the former Baptist Medical Centre, now known as Bowen University Teaching Hospital Ogbomoso.
The School of Nursing BUTH, Ogbomoso, prepares young men and women as entry-level professionals in the field of nursing. Only students who complete the three-year course are eligible to sit for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria’s Final Examination and can be registered as QUALIFIED NURSES upon successfully passing the examination.
The 2023 Admission Form is now available online, and the institution is in the process of transforming the School into a College to offer an HND in Nursing Program in addition to RN. For more information about ND/HND in Nursing, please refer to the provided article.
Eligibility for BUTH SON Application
To be eligible for the BUTH School of Nursing application, candidates must have a minimum of five credits in O’level subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as examined by WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. JAMB UTME is optional for application. Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years of age or above before they can apply.
How to Apply for BOWEN SON Form
Visit the website https://sono.buth.edu.ng/ and click on “Apply Now,” or directly access the registration page through this link: https://www.sono.buth.edu.ng/register.php. Provide your name and create a PIN as indicated on the page. Additionally, create a password that is easy to remember, and then proceed with the registration. Make a payment of ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira Only) to the following account:

You can make the payment through bank deposit or transfer using your bank app. Keep the teller or receipt for further payment verification. After making the payment, return to the website and log in with your details.
Make the payment only to the College Bank Account as explained in item 3 (avoid using third parties). Provide the payment details and upload the payment receipt in jpg/jpeg/PNG format (size: 40 – 50kb). Click on the “Submit” button and use the generated password and email to log in and continue your registration while waiting for the payment to be verified by the school’s account officers. Upload a recent passport photograph within the size range of 15 – 25kB maximum, in JPEG format. Fields that are marked with * are important and must be filled. Fill in your Bio-data, School Attended, and your O’level Results (with 5 Science Subjects at Credit level, maximum of 2 sittings). UTME is optional. Click on “Submit” to proceed to the Dashboard. Note that you cannot change your data after submission. Contact the System Administrator for any corrections (terms and conditions may apply). On the Dashboard, you can print the Form, Payment Receipt, Examination Slip, and Attestation Slip. (Note: Your payment must be verified before accessing the printouts).
Closing Date for BOWEN SON Form
The registration closes on May 27, 2023.
Entrance Examination Date
The entrance examination for BOWEN SON will be held on June 24, 2023.
The Attestation slip should be filled using a pen by:
Your Religious Leader, School Principal, or Any Clergy (not family).
