The National Teaching Council NTC gives full details of when College of Education graduates will be given their full licensure certificate which will enable them to practice as professional teachers in Ghana.
According to the National Teaching Council registrar in an interaction monitored by Tertiary Ghana on October 20th, the NTC has begun the distribution of the licensure certificate in 3 districts.
He further added that the teachers that were posted in and the others that will be posted in 2023 are to register on the teachers portal and their license will be added alongside the in-service teachers.
“We expect the teachers that wrote the exams to register on the portal and when we begin the main distribution, they will also receive theirs along with in-service teachers”

In-service teachers will receive their College of Education graduates licensure certificate within the next 6 months when the main distribution starts in January 2021 He added.
College of Education graduates licensure certificate is awarded to a candidate who has been properly admitted to the College of Education and has discharged all obligations to the College of Education and satisfactorily completed all College of Education Required Courses.
