The Halmstad University Scholarship will be taken from the tuition and will cover 25% or 50% of the cost.

Qualifications for the Masters Scholarship at Halmstad University

The applicant must be a national of a nation outside of the EU/EEA (as well as Switzerland) and be able to afford the tuition.

Date, Procedure, and Location of the Masters Scholarship Interview at Halmstad University Criteria for Selection:

  1. Students who pay tuition fees may be enrolled in a different selection group, and admittance to these students is not constrained by government funding for higher education in Sweden.
  2. Before registering, candidates who have been included in the selection group for tuition fee-paying students must have the University determine their position with regard to tuition fees.
  3. The applicant must submit proof of this status, which is their obligation.
  4. Those candidates who paid tuition fees who were accepted and had their established status altered to fee-exempt students will be added to the fee-exempt selection group as new applicants.

How to Apply for a Masters Scholarship at Halmstad University

  1. Apply at University Admissions for one of our master’s programs.
  2. The application fee must be paid to University Admissions.
  3. On March 8, only candidates who are qualifying for Halmstad University scholarships and our Master’s programs will be sent an email with a link to the online application.
  4. Apply for scholarships online by completing the form. The cutoff date is March 15.
  5. Please keep in mind that you must provide us the application number you will get from University Admissions.
  6. Based on a student’s academic achievements, the committee will grant scholarships (GPA but also ranking of the previous university and proficiency in English).
  7. Priority in the nomination will be given to applicants who choose a Halmstad University program as their top option.
  8. Around the beginning of April, Halmstad University will email scholarship winners to let them know they have won.
  9. Unfortunately, if you haven’t received a scholarship offer, you haven’t been given one. The recipients of rejection letters won’t be contacted individually.

The deadline for applications is March 15, 2023
