General Qualifications for the International Internship Program
- international juniors or seniors pursuing a master’s degree
a 3.0 GPA or above - GIP is only available to seniors in undergraduate programs or graduate students.
While submitting your application, please select your top two labs and provide your research proposal. Your application will be deemed incomplete and not processed for consideration if you do not upload your research plan or select one or two laboratories. - Please include your street address, phone number, and full name as it appears on your passport for quick processing.
Please review the GIP eligibility conditions prior to applying. The eligibility requirements must be met in order for your application to be processed.
Application Process for the Global Internship Program (GIP)
- visit the official website first
- Then Set up a profile with your email address.
- Fill out the online application and upload the necessary paperwork.

- Transcripts that are all original and in English
- Recommendation letter
- Results of the English Language Proficiency Test
- The “Submit” button must be clicked once the applicant has finished their application. (After being filed, an application cannot be changed.)
