2020 National Science & Maths Quiz postponed

Ghana’s most popular and widely watched television quiz programme, the National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ) will no longer take place in June – July as scheduled, the organizers of the quiz, Primetime has announced.

The postponement of the 2020 National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ) is due to the outbreak of the global coronavirus pandemic which has halted almost all world activities and also the regular increase in COVID-19 cases recorded in Ghana.

Primetime said its closely monitoring the crisis and will later announce new dates for the Championship as soon they are available.

The organizers, therefore, entreat all participants and cherish viewers to observe the preventive protocols recommended by the Health authorities which include: regular hand washing with soap under running water, the use of alcohol-based sanitizer, and coughing into the elbow.
